My name is Stuart Wallace and I am a self employed solar PV consultant. I live and work in Worcestershire although I do also travel to see prospective clients in Warwickshire and Gloucestershire. I have set this website up to provide people with some basic knowledge of what to look for prior to having a solar PV system installed. I shall be updating the site with more information especially if I find information relevant to Worcs/Glos/Warks.
Prior to moving into the Solar PV industry I had for many years been self employed working in the Financial Services industry. Being self employed my business has always grown through personal recommendations from existing clients due to their satisfaction in my services so when I decided to change industry my concern was to be able to work with a professional company which would live up to not only my high expectations but also that of my clients. I am glad to say that I have found a company to work with that has definitely lived up to these expectations -The Green Home Company. The Green Home Company (TGHC) are MCS accredited and members of the Renewable Energy Association and are also part of GML Construction who have an annual £10 million turnover in building modular/sustainable buildings for the likes of schools, councils and blue chip companies. GML Construction is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year and continues to gain new “quality” construction jobs. Due to implementing many “Eco” aspects in the buildings they build it was natural to create a sister company for the Solar PV industry and did so even prior to the “Feed in Tariff” being implemented last year.
Since starting to work with TGHC the professionalism has shone through, for example after every technical survey the final design of the system is done on computer software and the client is asked to sign off the final drawing of the proposed installation, this way they know exactly what they will be getting on installation day.
